Start Up, wow, doesn't that start your adrenalin flowing, your heart beating
faster, your mind running faster with ideas and possibilities? It does mine, and
has created some of the best experiences of my life.
What do you need when you start making your ideas real. How many people do
you need to get things moving. How can you get people excited about helping you
when you can't pay them anything? When do you need an attorney, an accountant,
buildings, professional management, investors, and IPO, and the myriad of other
things going through your head.
This idea stage is not a point for you to spread your cash too thinly. At the
same time if you haven't done this before, how do you go about getting started?
We've done this a few times now, and with no more than a few phone calls or
personal discussions we can get you started on the right path. If you are hooked
on the concept of taking your product or service to the world and want some
grounded, common sense discussions with people that have done it, give us a
call.
We can talk about things like;
- Who can I ask to join me in starting my company
- Can I ask people I work with to join me without
getting in legal trouble
- How can I expect people to join me when I can't pay
them now
- When do I need to form a company, and what form
should it be, LLC, Partnership, C, S . . .
- What kind of records do I need to keep when I spend
money
- These start-up expenses, can I write them off when
the company gets going
- When should I rent commercial space for the people
- Do I have to give personal guarantees for business
loans
