I enjoy working with small companies and helping their owners understand financial reports and how to correctly work with their financial records, specially when using QuickBooks. When was the last time you had someone analyze your business? When I say analyze, I mean look at your historical financial records and give you a report that shows where you are making money and where you are losing money, where are you growing, where are you shrinking. In QuickBooks, take a look at your Balance Sheet report. Set it to show negative numbers in red. Now look at the report, do you see anything other than depreciation and amortization in red? If you do in most cases you've been doing something wrong in your financial transaction entries. Let's get together and take a look at that report and I'll help you understand what it is telling you.
